Known for expertly blending elegance and engineering, Hublot had seen Tendril’s work and thought the Toronto, Canada-based studio was the right choice for visualizing the watch, which was 10 years in the making and has a case and bracelet made entirely from sapphire.

But things don’t always go as planned and, looking back, they can hardly believe they managed to finish Armstrong, a 10-minute 2D/3D short about love and strength and what happens when the moon suddenly disappears.
