Known for expertly blending elegance and engineering, Hublot had seen Tendril’s work and thought the Toronto, Canada-based studio was the right choice for visualizing the watch, which was 10 years in the making and has a case and bracelet made entirely from sapphire.

It was a pleasant surprise, to say the least, Solomon says, particularly since the film was a personal project that started out as a gag when he was working as a motion designer at Imaginary Forces in 2016.
